CHATENET CH26 restyling

Les Automobiles Chatenet lancent une nouvelle version de leur modèle phare, la CH26.

Présentée sous forme de prototype au Mondial 2006, lancée sur le marché en 2009, la règle de trois ans se confirme avec son "restyling" en 2012. Ma motivation première en initiant l'étude était de donner à la CH26 une personnalité plus affirmée par une identité de marque bien claire.

Le style Chatenet arrive à maturité et refuse de "singer" des modèles existants. La crédibilité des "sans permis" auprès du grand public passe aussi par une revendication forte d'originalité de marque.

Ce restylage se concentre sur la face avant, avec un regard plus félin, une calandre plus sportive, un capot plus musculeux, un bouclier plus enveloppant, intégrant le "must have" du moment, les feux diurnes à LED, bref; le petit chat devient un petit fauve.

Les nouveaux rétroviseurs sur pied, comme sur le prototype de 2006, apportent eux aussi une touche de sportivité supplémentaire. Le bouclier à l'arrière reprend l'esthétique du bouclier avant et donne une assise plus marquée à l'auto.

Automobiles Chatenet are launching the new version of their main model, the CH26.

Presented first as a prototype at Mondial in Paris 2006, then on sale in 2009, the "three year" pattern goes on with its restyling in 2012. My first motivation beginning this study was to give to the CH26 a stronger personnality through a brand identity well defined.

Chatenet' styling reaches its maturity and refuses to mimic existing models. Credibility of cars without license for a large public goes also with a strong claim for brand originality.

This restyling is essentially focused on the front, with a more feline glance, a sportier front grill, a more muscular hood, a wider front bumper integrating the "must have" of the moment, LED day lights...long story short: the kitten turns into a wildcat.

The mirrors, now located on the door panels, just like on the prototype of 2006, bring a touch of sport too. The rear bumper has the same style as the front bumper and gives a better stance to the car.
